Bar CartĀ Styling Goals in 6 Easy Steps

Ā

I love bar carts, I think they look so chic and add a bit of classy style to any room. Here are 6 elements you can add to your bar cart to give it a splash of happiness!Ā

Obviously you can’t style a bart cart without the actual cart. Many of you might already have one or are here to also find the right cart for you and your home! We didn’t want to spend over 100 dollars on a bar cart so we searched on many sites including Crate and Barrel, Amazon, World Market, and finally stumbled upon one, on sale, on Wayfair that fit with our modern rustic vibe we are going for. There are so so many carts out there, ranging from just 39.99 to over 500. If you are on a budget like we were, I would Ā definitely suggest Wayfair or Amazon! Happy Hunting!

This kind of goes without saying that you need booze for your cart but the prettier they are the more eye catching your cart will be. My husband and I are gin/tonic, Vodka/soda, or wine drinkers. We stick to our normal Tanqueray and Titos but sometimes its fun to throw a prettier bottle in the mix. My new found love for vodka is King Street Vodka, both pretty and yummy!Ā

Adding some sort of mixology or craft cocktails book to your cart adds a little fun. We have a book called The Bar Cart Bible and Wine FollyĀ both of which we found on amazon. They are fun to look through when we have guests over or are trying to come up with a signature cocktail for an event. They are nice additions!Ā

This just helps corral and organize your bottles together. I use trays all over my home. Stick a tray under any grouping of objects and suddenly the space seems more organized and styled. I found this great gold tray from wayfair! Simple and easy!Ā

Every room and part of our home has something living (or in my case something that can pass as the real thing, I can only focus on keeping one or two plants alive at a time ) . This can be a vase with some flowers in it, a succulent or small plant or even a small bowl with limes/ lemons in it! This will add some color and life to your bar cart. The great thing is, this applies to anywhere in your home, plants just bring spaces together and feel complete.Ā

This also is a no brainer when it comes to your bar cart but have fun with the glasses and mugs you choose! You can choose anything from classy, to a little more wild and fun, or something that matches the rest of the ascetic of your home. We received our drink ware for our wedding. We aren’t huge whiskey drinkers but these heavy bottom glasses we got are so fun and my husband loves them, we also received a fun shaped wine glass that adds to our cartā˜ŗļø

Lastly add some art above your cart or even a small print on your cart. This will give your cart a bit of visual interest and some personality. There are some awesome bar cart art on Etsy and Society6. I shop both of these places regularly for art around our home. We chose something my grandma had gotten me years and years ago. I say choose something that you love and makes you happy!Ā
