Hi All! Today I am sharing one of my favorite fall/winter soups. This recipe is super simple and super quick! Makes a great weekday meal and is also great for a crowd!Ā
I N G R E D I A N T SĀ
- 1 bag frozen tortellini (I use the ones from Costco)Ā
- 1/2 cup heavy creamĀ
- 1 28oz crushed tomatoesĀ
- 2 cups chicken brothĀ
- salt & pepper to tasteĀ
- garlic powderĀ
- Italian seasningĀ
- 1 cup Italian cheese blendĀ
- Parmesan cheeseĀ
I N S T R U C T I O N SĀ
- In a large pot, heat crushed tomatoes over medium heat.Ā
- Add chicken broth, stir together. Continue to cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes.Ā
- Add in your heavy cream and your seasonings and Italian blend cheese . Bring to a boil.Ā
- Once boiling add in the tortellini. Put a top on your pot and let simmer until tortellini is plump and sauce is thicker. About 10 minutes.Ā
- Serve right away with parmesan cheese on topĀ
